Materials used:

 Salty water
 Normal saline
 Tap water
 Microscopes
 Blood slides (original, isotonic, hypotonic)
 Cover for slide
 droppers

Procedure:
We did an experiment about red-blood cells in different solutions, isotonic (red-
blood cells in normal saline), hypotonic(red-blood cells in tap water),
hypertonic(red-blood cells in salty water), and we examined an original red-
blood cell sample, a red-blood slide in hypotonic, and another slide in isotonic
under microscopes.

Result:
As a result, we noticed that the red-blood cell sample that was submerged in
the isotonic solution (Normal saline) was similar to the original one under
microscope, and the red blood cell sample that was submerged in the hypotonic
solution (tap water) was clear it has shrunk.
