The plant Moringa oleifera (Malunggay) is widely distributed in the Philippines.
This plant may be found all throughout the nation. This research aimed to see if
leaf extracts from Moringa oleifera were effective in wound healing. More than 92
minerals and 46 kinds of antioxidants are found in Moringa Oleifera. Moringa is
reported to include nearly all of the vitamins present in fruits and vegetables and is
capable of curing over 300 ailments. There are no adverse effects, and there is
proof to back it up that has been tried, tested, recorded, and proven. 3 tablespoons
of powdered malunggay leaves contain 27 percent vitamin A and 22 percent
vitamin C, which is the same as 7 oranges, according to research. It is comparable
to four glasses of milk in protein, iron, and calcium content. On the other hand, its
potassium level is equivalent to three bananas. Aside from being three times more
nutritious than spinach, malunggay leaves contain four times more beta-carotene
than spinach.
