What is this document about?
The scope defines the functions and features of the final
product (or service) of your project.
When and how should I use this document?
The scope statement is first defined in an early stage of
the project, so that right from the start it is clear what
should be achieved and what not. Besides a clear
description of what is included, the scope statement
also contains a description of deliverables, exclusions,
assumptions and constraints that might apply. All these
aspects of the scope can be described on the Statement
sheet. Make sure that all stakeholders agree on it, so
that future disagreement and conflicts can be avoided.
Throughout the project, changes can occur that affect
the scope. Therefore, this document should be updated
whenever the scope changes.

What else should I know?

Scope Statement - Statement

Scope description
Organize the wedding between John and Lisa.

Deliverables
The following deliverables are included in the project:
· Invitation of guests.
· Arrangement of ceremony at town hall.
· Arrangement of reception at castle.
· Arrangement of transport for John and Lisa.
· Photo shooting session.

Acceptance criteria
All deliverables must meet the requirements, as agreed upon with John and Lisa.

Exclusions
The following activities are not included in the project:
· Organization of bachelor parties.
· Organization of honeymoon.
· Acquirement of wedding rings.

Constraints
The following constraints apply:
· The budget is 26.000 Euros.
· The maximum number of guests is 160.
· The wedding will be on 23 September 2017.

Assumptions
The parents of John and Lisa will cover for unexpected costs.
