For many years, IDEMIA has been selling the two following ranges of biometric terminals :
Since 2014, IDEMIA have successfully introduced the MorphoAccess® SIGMA series onto the
market and continued to add several new models to create a broad family portfolio. With the
World’s leading biometrics, touchscreen, IP65-rated design and multiple card reader options;
MorphoAccess® SIGMA series offers the ability to address the widest range of deployment
scenarios, both indoors and outdoors.
MorphoAccess® SIGMA family and its integration with MorphoManager is specifically designed
to smoothly deploy, replace or extend new or Legacy Morpho and Legacy Bioscrypt systems;
with no need to re-enroll users. To achieve that, the following features have been specifically
developed:
Seamless backward compatibility from a software management perspective
Support of multiple biometric template formats
Combination of all the main features required by the market
Over the past 5 years, IDEMIA has been supporting customers to maintain their legacy
installations and successfully transitioning to the newer MorphoAccess® SIGMA family. We are
now entering into a phase where IDEMIA will focus on the new generation and proposing new
advanced services.
1. MORPHOACCESS® SIGMA FAMILY MAINTENANCE (Covering 2020)
We are pleased to announce that as part of our new support & maintenance general terms,
MorphoAccess® SIGMA devices will benefit from a 2 years warranty from product delivery
associated to support and maintenance services including the following services items:
Hardware support covering repair or replacement service activities
Access to firmware releases to benefit from the latest features and corrections
Access to software releases to benefit from the latest features and corrections
Access to remote support service through our 24h/7days call center
The application of these new general terms will be effective retroactively from January, 1st
2020.
It is now time to announce complete end of life of Legacy Morpho and Legacy Bioscrypt
solutions, including end of support and the last Legacy firmwares update.
