from 27/04/2021
Course Tutor: LORENZO ANDREANI Awarding Body: CITY & GUILDS Delivery Dates:
to 29/06/2021

Course Aims/Objectives:

AutoCAD is an integral part of the CAD industry and not just as a piece of software, but also as a necessary skill across many industries.
Whether it’s drafting or engineering, you won’t be able to go very far without having the necessary AutoCAD skills.

This unit will equip candidates with an understanding of the CAD Parametric Modelling environment, in terms of hardware, software and physical surroundings. It will
explore the typical composition of a CAD Parametric Modelling system and Health and Safety matters that are associated with safe working practices. The student will be
able to create, modify and work with a 2D/3D drawing in the AutoCAD software. Effectively move around a drawing, use AutoCAD’s drafting tools, organise information in
your drawing using layers and blocks. You will also be able to output your drawings using different printing and plotting options.
