The Society of Interior Design Student (SIDS) and FIN 4304 Class - Seminars and Workshops in
Interior Design plan to hold a Webinar and Workshop entitled “Design Dialogue: Understanding
Latest Trends in the New Normal”, on September 29, 2021, 2:00 – 5:00PM via Zoom. This will be the
first part of our organization’s co-curricular activities in celebration of the 75th Foundation Anniversary of
the University of the East. The webinar and workshop aim to feature latest trends in interior design and
how to meet new safety and design standards during the pandemic. (Attached is the full proposal of the
activity).

“Design Dialogue: Understanding Latest Trends in the
New Normal”
Resource speakers are invited to discuss the topic about the
latest trends in interior design and in between, there will a
product presentation featuring the latest trends and
innovations in the Interior Design Industry.

II. OBJECTIVES
This project intends to help Interior Design students to
understand the career path that they chose and learn new
Interior Design trends in response to the COVID-19
Pandemic. This project will also serve to promote the Interior
Design Program and encourage future enrollees to take the
said program.
IV. METHODOLOGY

PLANNING STAGE

 In order to finalize the project details including date and

other needs for the event, meetings were conducted.
 The group in-charge are required to be in the Zoom
meeting at 1:30PM for the preparation of the event
proper.
 Invitation to the guest speakers were distributed.
 Excuse letters signed by the authority concerned are given
to students who are part of the event to excuse them from
class activities on the said date.

VI. EVALUATION

Evaluation is an important mechanism that will provide the

organizers pertinent information about the success of the activity. In
addition, it involves collecting and analyzing information about the
program’s activities and outcomes. Thus, evaluation forms are prepared
and distributed to be answered by participants and officers. These will
be used in order to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the
activity and shall be used in handling similar future activities
