Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) Strategic

Planning Conference 2019
The Gender and Development (GAD) Focal
Point System (GFPS) of the Bureau of the
Treasury (BTr) held its Strategic Planning
Conference for 2019 at Abagatan Ti Manila,
Alfonso, Cavite last 6-7 June 2019. Ms.
Reina D. Olivar, a Philippine Commission
on Women (PCW) – accredited GAD
Specialist acted as the resource speaker and
facilitator of the said conference.

This year’s GAD strategic planning

conference oriented the newly-
reconstituted BTr GFPS on Results-Based
Management, Monitoring and Evaluation
(RBMME) and facilitated the development
of the 6-year BTr GAD Agenda and the
2020 GAD Plan and Budget.

The GFPS is looking forward to

successfully accomplish its plans and
programs especially those that are targeted
for completion by the end of 2019. These include the establishment of the GAD Corner
and the launching of the Child-Minding Station in the Bureau. The GFPS, together with
the support of the BTr Management, is envisioning a better and more gender-responsive
working environment for its employees and various stakeholders through the
implementation of GAD-related programs and projects.
