My Analysis
- The principles of assessment I have observed was that assessment supports the
student learning process, was valid, reliable, transparent, and efficient. This kind of
assessment provides quality learning opportunities to the learners. Teachers do promote
self-reflection and personal accountability among students about their learnings.
6. The principle that was least observed was on how they emphasize on the assessment of
higher – order thinking. Connecting and encouraging effect with the students were less
observe.
My Reflection
We assess what we value and we value what we assess. What should I do to make
assessment worthwhile?
- It is the duty of the teacher to be well organized and should have a depth knowledge on
his/her subject matter, to give a better equated assessment to students, and on the
teaching process teachers need also to learn from his/her students for self-betterment
on implementing such content. I believe, that in teaching-learning process there should
be a collaboration, communication, and creativeness to explicitly attain the goal of
learning. And assessment should support the student learning process, valid, reliable,
transparent, and efficient to appropriately evaluate the student.
