Q. Can I pay my IELTS Fee through IBFT?


A. Yes, you can use the internet banking of any bank to transfer your IELTS fee.
Q. Can I pay my IELTS Fee through ATM?
A. Yes, you can use your ATM card to pay your IELTS fee through any ATM machine.
Q. What if my ATM transfer limit is below the IELTS Fee?
A. If your limit is lower, you will need to get it extended by your respective bank.
Q. Can I make a partial payment of my IELTS Fee through ATM or IBFT?
A. No. The IELTS Fee should be paid in full. Partial Payment is not allowed.
Q. Can I use a specific Bank's ATM card on a different Bank's ATM machine?
A. Yes, you can but bear in mind that some ATM machines only allow Fund Transfer if you are
using that specific bank's ATM card.
Q. Can I pay my IELTS Fee through an ATM or IBFT, using a Credit Card?
A. No. Please do not use your credit card if you are paying through IBFT/ATM.
Q. Do I need to pay any bank charges with my IELTS Fee?
A. No. You only need to pay the IELTS Fee amount as per your registration.
Q. What if my ATM / IBFT services are not working?
A. Please contact your bank.
Q. What if my 16 Digit Account number is not active?
A. Please contact the British Council Contact Centre.
Q. How can I contact British Council in case of queries?

back to you as soon as possible.
