Please be aware that Glenair charges base rates of $350.00 for standard hand tools,
and tension gages. Pneumatic tools and calibration kits are a $450.00 base rate.

The base price includes full evaluation, service, and certificate of conformance. Price
includes up to $20.00 in minor part(s) replacement such as springs, pins, e-clips, etc.
Parts exceeding $20.00 in minor part(s) replacement will be included in the total base
service rate(s) and a formal final quote will be sent for final approval.

A Customer Furnished Material form, or CFM, will be filled out by Glenair and e-mailed
within 24 hours and must be submitted with the packing slip with the tool. Please
forward the purchase order to BandItTools@glenair.com . The PO can be valued at
zero dollars until a formal quote can be sent once the maintenance service has been
completed. Please make sure the Band-It model number(s), and Band-It serial
number(s) are referenced on the purchase order.

Normal TAT for hand tools and tension gages is 15 business days after receipt. For
pneumatic tools please allow up to four weeks for evaluation, service and calibration kits
are a 6-week turnaround time.

*Please be advised that Band-It assembly tools and accessories are not calibrated in
accordance to any calibration system standards. All Band-It assembly tools and
accessories are serviced and maintained, and certified to the OEM operating standards
for optimum accuracy. However all equipment and/or instruments used to service and
maintain Band-It assembly tools or accessories are calibrated in accordance with
ANSI/NCSL Z540-3 and are certified by, or are fully traceable to, the N.I.S.T. (National
Institute of Standards and Technology).

Lastly the following statement must be noted on your Purchase Order in order to
process any CFM Band-It tool(s) to be serviced:

"Glenair Terms and Conditions of Product Servicing and Maintenance Rev B

apply to this Purchase Order in lieu of any other Terms and Conditions
referenced herein.”

Procedural Checklist

 Please do not ship the tool(s) without acquiring the CFM form number First.
 To acquire a CFM please forward a purchase order that is either zero dollars or in
the amount of $350.00 for standard tools or $450.00 for pneumatic tools which is the
initial evaluation and service fee. Model number and serial number must be
referenced.
 The purchase order must include the following notation: "Glenair Terms and
Conditions of Product Servicing and Maintenance Rev B apply to this Purchase
Order in lieu of any other Terms and Conditions referenced herein." (If you don’t
have a copy of Glenair’s Terms and Conditions of Product Servicing and
Maintenance Rev B please contact BandItTools@glenair.com to obtain a copy.)
 Once you receive the CFM, which you should receive no later than 24 hours after
request, print it out and ship with the packing list and tool(s).
 When shipping the tool to Glenair a packing list on your company letterhead
must accompany the tool. This should include the Band-It part number(s), the
Band-It serial number(s), and relevant contact information such as buyer name,
phone number and e-mail address.
 Ship the tool(s), with the CFM numbered form and your Packing List to:

Final note: The CFM and or P.O. is not a packing list. The packing list, as stated
above, should be a separate document on your company letterhead with the Band-It
