SPTE 202 Bonus Point Papers

You may earn up to three (3) additional bonus points for attending certain ticketed live
entertainment events and writing a brief report about that event. Your report must include some
commentary about the business aspects about the event and well as what you liked about the
event and ways the event could be improved. Details are listed below. The bonus paper must be
submitted during class within two weeks of your attendance at the event. Events at Columbia
area venues such as the Koger Center, Trustus Theatre, Workshop Theatre, Town Theatre, the
Township Auditorium, The Senate, and Colonial Life Arena may qualify. Sports events and
events with uncontrolled admission (i.e. a band playing at a local bar where you did not purchase
an actual ticket to see the artist) do not qualify for bonus points. If you have any doubt about
whether or not an event qualifies, you must get it approved prior to attending the event.

You may earn the three bonus points for attending events up to five times during the semester.
You may earn up to 15 bonus points by attending and reporting on event but not more. You may
not earn more than six such bonus points within the last three weeks of class for this specific
course. Please note that any such report is not guaranteed to earn the full three points; the points
earned will depend upon the quality and relevance of the report.
