SIDERWELD BRONZE
WELDING WIRE
The new bronzed coating treatment allows the following com- FEATURES
ponents of the welding fumes and gases to be reduced: - LOW WELDING FUMES
Solid particulates: Small particles of metallic oxides (copper & GASES EMISSION
oxide) from coatings, formed when the vaporized metal ra-
pidly condenses in air;
Gases: gas produced from the thermal breakdown of the
mixture of lubricants, oxides and other contaminants residues END USER BENEFITS

SIDERWELD BRONZE
WELDING WIRE
The new bronzed coating treatment allows a reduced metallic FEATURES
coating content in the welding fumes, without decreasing the - PROTECTION AND USEFUL
level of protection and metallurgical action of the coating. OF THE COATING
The coating allows a better corrosion protection thanks to the
difference in electrode potential between the wire and coa-
ting.
The high corrosion resistance of wire surface allows a higher END USER BENEFITS
weld quality and furthermore the welding wires can be safely - LONGER SAFE STORAGE
stored for extended periods. - HIGHER WELD QUALITY

WELDING WIRE FEATURES
END USER BENEFITS
- EXCELLENT ARC IGNITION WITH - REDUCED POST WELD CLEANING
VERY LOW PRESENCE OF SPATTER AND
SLAG ISLANDS
Excessive spatter not only creates a poor weld appearance, with longer
clean-up time, but it can be also lead to incomplete fusion in multiple wel-
ding pass applications. Siderweld bronzed coating treatment leads excel-
lent arc stability getting the amount of welding spatter reduction especially
in high production rates uses. Moreover the very low presence of spatter
on the welding bead can be removed very easily. Other significant obtai-
ned result is a flatter bead profile, very good, smooth and shiny welding
bead aspect with a very low slag islands (silicates) presence. Therefore the
coating treatment is ideal for applications where minimum post weld clea-
ning is required, saving time and reducing the overall manufacture cost.
As an added benefit the low bead surface oxidation makes it ideal for ap-
plications that require post weld painting.
The wires are produced with new drawing process that is SIDERWELD BRONZE
able to guarantee a low content of elements associated WELDING WIRE FEATURES
with arc instability. The bronzed drawing process produ- - STABLE ARC
ces a extremely clean and smooth wire surface with a - GOOD ARC STARTS&STOP
coating treatment more resistant of outstanding quality - HIGH CURRENT OPERABILITY
and adherence. The results are less contamination of - EXCELLENT FEEDING PROPERTIES
wire feeders, liners, torches and contact tips with copper
particles, less glide force through the liner, therefore less
wire burns back to the contact tip cases. This means
contact tip wear and feedability issues resolution and
overall reduction in downtimes.
Siderweld bronzed wire shows exceptional arc stability END USER BENEFITS
with less variance in welding current transfer from tip to - INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY
wire, than competitive wires on the market. - REDUCED
Smooth wire and costant feedability and excellent start MAINTENANCE DOWNTIME
and stop properties, resulting in an excellent weld bead
appearance even at high wire speed and respective wel-
ding parameters.
Siderweld Bronze (N) The force needed to push the wire through the liner
was measured using: SIDERWELD 128 CA3 diam.
1,20 mm; wire feed speed=12 m/min; liner ty-
pe=round steel conduits with plastic coating; liner
length=15 m; liner curves n.=1.
