Activity 1

What can you say about the picture below?

- They both show difficulties in decision-making.

Have you been in this kind of situation?

- A lot of times. Especially when I must make a very important decision as soon as possible
and I have no one to rely on but only myself.

What are the things that you considered in making choices?

- There are a lot of things I need to consider in decision-making so that I will not regret my
choices. After careful deliberations and analyzing everything, I always make sure that I am
ready for the consequences it may bring. Here are some of the things I consider:
o Give yourself some time.
o Weigh the pros and cons.
o Think about your goals and values.
o Consider all the possibilities.
o Rethink your options.

Activity 2

Life decision

When I was 12 years old, with the support of my parents/ guardians, I decided to pursue my studies in
high school.
Consequence: I was able to meet new friends with whom I made a lot of memories. I was always thrilled
when I was in this grade level.

During my 14th year of age, I couldn’t give my very best.

Consequence: I was not so satisfied with my grades and performances. I had thought that I could have
done better.

When I was 16 years old, I never gave too much importance to evaluating myself especially of what
career would best suits me in the future.
Consequence: I am a little bit confused and had little difficulty in the subjects in my senior high school. I
need to work hard a bit to adjust and get better results
Activity 3

A domino effect or chain reaction is the cumulative effect produced when one event sets off a chain of
similar events. The term is best known as a mechanical effect and is used as an analogy to a falling row
of dominoes. It typically refers to a linked sequence of events where the time between successive
events is relatively small. It can be used literally or metaphorically.

Just like in the picture, it clearly shows that whatever actions you do in life, a domino effect will take
place. Whether you do good or bad, the same amount of effect will return to you. This is also sometimes
called the Boomerang Effect in which whatever actions you throw in life; it will always return to the
owner and sometimes with worse consequences.
