World Teacher’s day was celebrated on September 5 to October 5, 2020. World

Teachers Day 2020 assumes significance amid the COVID-19, with the theme “Teachers:
Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”. As the COVID-19 pandemic affected the education
process, it created challenges for teachers across the world. It created a need to revisit the
method of giving education. Teachers have had a significant duty in providing remote learning
and making education more accessible.

Due to the pandemic, the program that are usually dedicated to teachers have
been cancelled, the activities are gone. But the Department of Education never let us feel that
we are alone in facing this pandemic. With their simple yet very unforgettable activities through
virtual we felt that we have them always at our back. This pandemic will never stop us to
provide a better education. With the support of our active head at Simanta Elementary School,
Sir Eugene G. Elorde we celebrated the Worlds Teachers Day with a simple get together. Were
we sharing laughter, love and strong determination to give quality Education amid this
pandemic.
