INTRODUCTION
Market research is the function that links consumers and the public to the
marketer through information which can be used to identify market
opportunities, monitor performance and understanding the market concept.
The main aim of market research is to know who are the customers of the
service. The idea of the service being researched here is- an app for people
who like to buy first editions and special anniversary editions of their
favorite books. It is area -specific and it connects buyers with bookstores
and independent sellers. It also has information regarding merchandise.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVE
1) To find the feasibility of the product
2) Gain critical customer feedback
3) Understand customer inclination towards purchasing
products
4) Enhance existing products and services
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The market research is being conducted using the research instrument
called ‘market survey’.
DATA COLLECTION METHODOLOGY-
1. PRIMARY- It is conducted by getting first-hand information through a
questionnaire which has 10 questions pertaining to the product.
2. SECONDARY- Already existing data is collected through books and
journals.
SAMPLE SIZE- The data is collected from 30 respondents which is the
sample size.
FOR FINAL- Analysis and interpretation of the raw data was done by
converting it into bar graphs.

Formerly called World Book Market, Bookzangle describes itself as
“an international group of booksellers who believe that quality of
books and quality of service far outweigh quantity of listings.”
Established in 2004, they have high standards for their sellers, who
number a few dozen. Booksellers are based in the UK, USA, Canada,
New Zealand, and Australia. They offer bookselling software and
many other services to their members.

2) Bibliophile Bookbase
Bibliophile is based in Switzerland with a few hundred booksellers
located around the globe, but mostly in the UK, US, Ireland, South
Africa and Australia. The website has been online since 1999 and
is available in English, French, German and Italian.
