Create an infographic regarding the process of operation of an aircraft pneumatic system. Indicate
illustrations or figures in every step of the process. You can use an airliner to discuss its operation.

PNEUMATIC
SYSTEM
pneumatic system is any system that uses pressurized air to move something. On aircraft, lots of different
parts of the aircraft can be moved with pneumatic components or hydraulic components, which are the
same except they use pressurized water instead of air.
BLEED
VALVE
The air extracted from the
compressor then goes to a
bleed valve which acts as a
shut off and pressure
regulating valve
CROSSBLEED VALVE
Both systems are connected by a PREECOOLER
crossbleed duct. The precooler uses

RAM AIR SYSTEM
Light aircraft may use ram air— a
dynamic air pressure created by
the aircraft's motion to operate
gyroscopic instruments.
They can also heat the cockpit
and cabin with ram-air heated by
engine exhaust gases or a
combustion heater, as well as
demist the windscreen.

Outside air is introduced to
the cabin through forward-
facing intakes or ram air inlet
which is commonly found on
the aircraft’s belly, wing, and
on some light aircraft, on the

Through the exhaust muff,
the ram air come into

A cold air control is also used The air is dumped overboard
to regulate the cold ambient through the vent located
