* Square neck return grilles – start at 1a. * Round neck return grilles – start at 1b.

STEP 1a
Attach square-to-round adapter to neck of return grille with
sheet metal screws.

STEP 1b
Attach one end of FlexaBoot sound attenuating flexible duct to
return grille or square-to-round adapter neck using sheet
metal screws.

STEP 2
Thread cable ties through both FlexRight saddle bands. Figure 1
(Figure #1)

FlexRight will form and hold sound attenuating flexible duct to

designed 90-degree angle for optimum acoustical
performance.

STEP 3
Rotate and direct open end of FlexaBoot to best sound
attenuating position. Mount FlexRight flexible duct brace
under sound attenuating flexible duct. Tighten cable tie
around neck of square-to-round or grille neck. (Figure #2)

STEP 4 Figure 2
Fasten second cable tie loosely around flexible duct. Do not
over-tighten and crush flexible duct. (Figure #3)

STEP 5
Hang open end of boot from structure using supplied hanger
webbing.
