Networking

Computer networking is a group of computer and associated peripheral connected by a

communication channel capable of sharing files and other resource the several users . computer
network is the interconnection of to more than two nodes which are able to exchange information
(text , audio , video , image etc.)by means of transmission medium either wired or wireless and
protocols .

Advantages of networking

 File sharing : you can easily share data between different users or access it remotely if you
keep it on other connected devices .
 Resource sharing : using network connected peripheral devices like printers scanner and
copies or sharing software between multiple users saves money .
 sharing a single internet connection : it is cost efficient and can help protect your systems if
you properly secure the network .
 increasing storage capacity : you can access files and store remotely on other machines or
network attached storage device.

Disadvantages of networking

 Expensive: for the formation of computer network some extra device and resource like NIC
(network interface Card) hubs cables modem etc.are required which increase the cost of
network.
 Security data: Although the server manages and control all the other computer in the
networks data in between communication process may be hacked and used by third parties
which cause the data corruption and leakage in networking .
 Needs special technical Knowledge : To operate a networking system special skilled
manpower is required , which is another problem.
