Based on your understanding, why is continuous trade important

Continuous trade is important because it allows expansion of goods and services internationally. The
countries can focus to the things that they are comparatively good at and import the rest. In that way,
every country will benefit. Every country will become more successful that it will help to increase their
GDP which implies economic growth. While in the other hand, if there is no continuous trading, it may
result to mercantilism where all countries are self-sufficient. They will produce things that they were not
able to make efficiently and will limit earning profit.
