Reflection in Lesson #1

In lesson 1 I learned about science. Science it is the effort discover and

increase human understanding of how the physical world works. It is also the
knowledge gained from using observations and experiments to describe and explain the
world around us. The branches od science. The physical science, which includes
chemistry and physics. Earth and science which includes the geology, astronomy,
meteorology, and oceanography. Lastly the life science which includes the botany,
zoology, and ecology. Physical science is analyzing the nature and properties of energy
of nonliving matter. Earth science is the study of origin, structure, and physical
phenomena of the earth. And lastly the life science. It deals with living organisms
and their organizations, life processes and relationships to each other and the
environment. The science has a lot of contribution to the society, to the technology,
environment, medicine, in space technology.

Reflection in Lesson #2
In lesson 2, I learned about the scientific attitudes. It is attitude that the
scientist or anyone should possess in studying science. Here’s the attitude of scientist
must have. Curiosity, Objectivity, Critical mindedness, Open mindedness,
Resourcefulness, Risk taking, Intellectual honesty, Responsibility, Perseverance.
Scientific Literacy is a capability to use scientific knowledge to identify questions and
to draw evidence-based conclusions. Scientific inquiry it involves asking questions and
developing explanations to particular phenomena through the use of scientific process
skills.
Reflection in Lesson #3
In lesson 3, is about the scientific method. It is the basic steps the scientist
follow is uncovering facts and solving scientific problems. There are six steps in the
scientific method. The step number 1 is observation. This is the perceive with your
senses. Step 2 is forming a question the question usually starts with how and why.
Step 3 make hypothesis. Hypothesis is prediction. Or it is the proposed answer in
your step 2. Step number 4 is experiment. After you answer the questions and
hypothesis, you must conduct an experiment that will test it. Step 5 is conclusions. It
will test if the conclusion supports your hypothesis. The last step and step 6 report
and share your results.

Reflection in Lesson #4
In lesson 4, I learned about the measurements. Measurements is number that
show the size or amounts of other things. Base units it is the basic quantities
because they cannot be measured in a simpler form. For example, the basic unit of
mass is kilogram and the symbol is kg. In length, meter and symbol is m. The basic
unit of time is second and the symbol is s. And in temperature, the basic unit is
kelvin or K. The basic unit in electric current is ampere and symbol, A. In luminous
intensity is candela or cd. And lastly, in amount of substance is mole or mol. The
significant figures are expressed in numerical forms some of which may have definite
and indefinite digits.
