Pop-up Question: Are you happy with how your society defines beauty?
- No, because in our society there are so many people who have different defining
what beautiful is. They judge other people's because they defined that beauty is
attractive looks.
Then look at the following “before and after” pictures of famous Pinoy celebrities.
Describe their physical appearance before and after. Which of their pictures do
you consider to be beautiful? Why?
- I consider the firstl picture to be beautiful because they are confident with their
self.
Try to answer the following questions in order for you to analyze your physical
aspect:
(1) Are you healthy and active?
- Yes, Because I'm one of the active leader of ylthe youth in our baranggay and
also healthy because as i can see in my body I'm not a kind of person that easy to
have Sick.
(2) Are you comfortable with your body? Do you like what you see?
- Yes, Because this body was give to our Almighty God this is a gift from His so i
need to take care of it.

Your answers to the given questions basically give you your perspective on the
basic and different aspects of the self namely: (1) Physical (2) Mental (3)
Emotional and (4) Spiritual.

- Yes, because this is who I am and Gid gave me that face to be proud of what I
have.
2. Are you happy with how you look in your filtered photo? Explain.
- Yes, because I am more attractive with that picture and it push myself to
improve my self confidence.
3. What do you think your answers say about your self-esteem and confidence?
- There are times that I feel confident, I feel like there are things I am good at. But
sometimes, My confidence gets knocked, or I don't like myselves very much. 1can
all feel like this at times, but when I feel like this for a long time, it can become a
problem.
Pop-up Question: How would you help other people suffering from body image
disturbance embrace their physical selves?
- I will comport that he/she are still worth it. Be yourself and what you want to be.
Don't mind what others judge to you. No one can judge because we are the one
of God's creation.
Explore nine very different qualities that are considered beautiful around the
world. Find out if you would be considered beautiful/handsome in these far-flung
destinations.
- I would personally find some people more attractive than the others because of
my own upbringing or my own cultural bubble that has set rules about how a
beautiful person should look like.
EVALUATION:
Write a letter to your unfiltered self. Open up about your struggles at fitting in
with your society’s standard of beauty. End your letter by encouraging your
unfiltered self.
