Dear Batch of 2023,

It has come to our notice that many students are not turning up for the CV
mentorship rounds.
CV mentorship is an important part of the placement process and the senior batch
has given their best to provide the new batch with their guidance but due to lack
of interest from the batch of 2023, this process has been discouraging and it fails
IIMK as a leader in discipline and sincerity. Hence, we have to take disciplinary
actions against those who fail to comply with the given rules and guidelines.

You are advised to regularly contact your mentors and take fruitful suggestions
from them. The seed you sow today, will reap a good fruit in the future. So, make
the best of the given opportunity

Note: Remember that rules and regulations are sacrosanct

Email writing : Draft a mail to change IDT mentor

TASK 2
To Placements Chairperson,
Placements Office, IIM Kozhikode
This is to bring to your notice that there has been delays and a bit of conflict of
interest with the present contractor for Industry Deep Dive sessions and workshops.
The company has lost the same passion it had in the earlier years and they are not
providing us with a set of regular set of industry experts but are instead
assigning anyone with the responsibility and are yet charging a hefty fees. The
delivery of sessions have not been upto mark and students do not find it engaging.
They even donot have a proper schedule or road map for the sessions.
We have checked with resources and found out that other eminent B-schools have tied
up with Company Aziom and they are doing well in the placement industry dive
sessions. We would request you to look into the matter and look over to new bidders
and companies who would provide us with the service with utmost sincerity. This
concerns the future of our students and the image of our institute.

1. Error is spike points - The 4 Spike points should preferably follow this
format (academic achievements, CIP, PORs, and extra-curricular activities), so IEEE
Author can come 1 point forward
2. Class XII should be only 1 year that is 2010-11
3. Secured AIR-187 out of .14 million applicants (should be 0.14 mn) and stretch
the line till the end
Facilitated successfully delivery of 2 major projects within 3 months adding 1
million $ in revenue (should be 1 mn)
Provided assistance to client’sstaff and 3 billion customers by enabling all
systems to operate in coordination (should be 3 bn)
4. Many lines are ending in the middle, pull them to the end
5. Was awarded with the prestigious NTSE Scholarship from the Government of
India out of 0.25 K students in India (This is wromg formation, write Awarded with
and 0.25k should be 250 as only above 100,000 should have mn, bn)
6. Software Quality Control Team . There should be a comma separting the role
from the department and for each new heading, the role should be mentioned in the
heading which is missing
7. 1.5 K+ issues should be 1500+

wrong)

initiatives and then achievements and is applicable for all roles
13. In quizzing and many places, power words were repeated, use unique power
words

15. Singing is not to be a title in ECA, it is part of hobby or any achievement.

18. Volunteered for XYZ, Mumbai Chapter and had raised INR 1,15,000 to donate in CM
