THE EVO™ XPAND IP+ ODU-SP

A carrier grade platform that is scalable and flexible to meet The Standard Power ODU-SP operates in the frequency range of
the need for 2G/3G/4G/LTE/WiMAX-backhaul and high 6-38 GHz, carries 10 Mbps up to 500 Mbps over a single carrier
capacity Metro Ethernet. The product is built around a Layer-2 with a range of modulations from QPSK to 256 QAM over 3.5
(Ethernet) switch fabric, and has built in features for traffic - 56 MHz bandwidth. With XPIC, it can go up to 1 Gb/s using
aggregation and switching in different radio directions. UNI and CCDP. Configuration supported by ODU-SP: 1+0, 2+0, 1+1 HSB/
INNI interfaces can be configured per port, and Synchronous FD & 2+2 with integrated or non-integrated antenna solutions.
Ethernet is supported on all interfaces. The radio frame supports
a flexible mix of native Ethernet- and E1 traffic, and adaptive
modulation can be enabled to increase throughput for best effort
traffic. Layer-2 or layer-3, Enhance QoS is available for traffic
prioritization on congested links.

Aggregation of Ethernet traffic is used to combine traffic to/

from several radios to allow true Gigabit throughput. Co-channel
operation with XPIC, Space Diversity Combining and Error
Correction are utilized to build highly reliable networks efficiently.
A common ODU for all capacities enables easy upgrade from low
capacity to high capacity without climbing towers.

IFU
The baseband part of the terminal is based on one or several
IFUs. The Universal IFU has plug-in units making the system very
scalable and capable of meeting the interface and configuration
needs. Terminal configurations range from non-protected or Hot
StandBy (HSB) to radio and also support line interface protection.
Interfaces include E1, GbE, STM-1 and Auxiliary interfaces.
