B. Modelling of Prototypes

Modelling of the prototype was the crucial job of this


project. The SolidWorks version which we have used is
SolidWorks 2016. The Unit system which we have used is
MMGS. The shield plate and visors are separately modelled as
a part and then assembled to form a shield. Before beginning
the modelling of the prototypes, it was necessary to study the
dimensions as well as guidelines so that the prototypes will be
technically correct. We decided to take a reference of basic face
shield available in the market for precise dimensions.
