PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

Reservoir Engineer Manager, TX Panhandle Feb 2017 – Present
Quanah Panhandle (A Private equity backed E & P startup company)
Key Responsibilities:
 Field studies of 30+ horizontal Marmaton oil wells that mainly involved extensive data analytics of completion
and petrophysical data to understand best completion practices and identifying geologic sweet spots. This led
to >100% improvement of IP30 and 89% improvement in EUR/ft for 2017 – 2019 drilling programs.
 Recommended bolt-on acreage acquisitions, that lead to a successful drilling program that yielded 30% ROR,
using lessons learned from field studies.
 Participated in multiple data rooms focused in the Permian basin, Delaware basin and Eagle ford.
 Reserves database management, Quarterly and annual reserves reporting (ARIES Proficient)

Sr Reservoir Engineer, East/West TX and North LA Oct 2014 – Present

Compass Production Partners (A startup company started between EXCO Resources and Harbinger Group)
Key Responsibilities:
 Responsible for quarterly corporate reserves determination, management and reporting (SEC Guidelines)
 Ability to identify and create projects that add value to field development and reserves.
 Extensive field studies for identifying landing zones and best completion practices for horizontal wells, targeting
the Wolfcamp shale and canyon sands in the Permian basin and cotton valley tight sands in North LA. This
created over $800mm of value in horizontal development.
 Involved in multiple acquisition evaluations worth over $5 billion and preparation of a data room for asset
divestitures worth over $500 million
 ARIES Database management, optimization & modeling to attain maximum & defendable asset valuation. Was
able to create $40mm in value, companywide, in reserves database through LOS analysis and modeling.
 Support in budget and planning. Also provide reserves and valuation in preparation for bank loan
re-determination meeting.

Reservoir Engineer June 2010 – Oct 2014

EXCO Resources | Shale/Non-Shale Formation, East TX and North LA
Key Responsibilities:
 Field studies (50+ horizontal wells) to identify drilling locations and best completion practices to optimize on well
performance. Including collecting, sorting and analyzing data from drilling to logging to completion/stimulation
activities and well performance. Also identifying re-completion opportunities.
Page
 Developed correlations that showed positive impacts of completion practices to well performance for horizontal
drilling program. About 15% improvement in well performance.
 Perform decline curve analysis for reserve determination. Also use reservoir modeling tools (Fekete Harmony) as
a technical backup to justify reserves.
 AFE Preparation, mainly involving generating type curves and economic analysis (Haynesville Horizontals).
 Study well performance data (Production and pressure) using diagnostic plots to diagnose issues related to under
performance (liquid loading), detect interference from offset producing wells and estimate well spacing for
future development.
 Evaluate well proposals from other operators, to participate in the drilling and completion of horizontal wells in
shale/non-shale reservoirs.
