HOTELS MODULE OVERVIEW

This document contains information about the Hotel module of the OTA web
application project. The module details are abstract and described from a business
perspective.

If the client’s association is finalised with SYSOTEL, then the detailed documentation
will be provided with micro details about each feature.

Terminologies
These are the common terms used throughout the documentation.
● Client is the company/individual that is giving the OTA development contract
to SYSOTEL.
● Extranet is the website that will be used to manage hotel details and
rate/inventory data. This portal is used by hotel owners or users authorized by
the hotel owner such as revenue managers or employees of the hotel.
● Admin Panel is used by the company that owns the OTA. This website is
typically used by company employees, support team, accounting team etc.
● Booking Website is the frontend website where the booking takes place. This
website is typically used by B2C customers or B2B customers like travel agents
and corporate.

1) Extranet
- Typically the hotelier / authorized user from the hotel will create an account
and add the following details to apply for hotel registration
- This portal will have the following sections
- Authentication (registration, login, forgot password, reset password &
verify email)
- Basic Details
- Location Details
- Hotel General Policies
- Cancellation Policies
- Rooms
- Rate Plans
- Rates & Inventory
- Images
- Amenities
- Nearby Places
- Promotions
- User Management
- Bookings Analytics Dashboard
- Activity Logs
- Account settings
- Once the mandatory details are filled up by the Extranet User in the above
pages, Then the OTA contract will be available for e-sign. Once the Extranet
User submits the contract, the hotel will go for verification.
- The portal will be divided into multiple sections based on access rights. The
Extranet User can add more users to the hotel by restricting their access to
one or combination of the following permissions.

- Bookings modifications

2) Admin Panel
- This portal is for the company admins to perform back office tasks such as
approve/block hotels, send notifications to the user, view revenue details and
many more depending on the client requirement.
- This portal will have the following pages

- Manage hotel details
- All users
- Manage extranet users
- Property detail verification
- Manage booking website users (guests, travel agents)
- This portal will have various access rights such as the following (This will be
defined properly in the future as per client’s requirement)
- View Hotel Details

- Send mass emails.

2) Booking Website
This section lists details about the hotels section in the OTA website.
- This is where guests and B2B clients such as travel agents will create bookings
for hotels.

Guest Portal
- Guest portal will be common for all modules.
- Guest can log in to this portal and view all the bookings
- Guests can raise queries from this portal which will reflect on the admin portal
or integrated third party app for operation teams.

Tech Stack
Following tech stack will be used for created the applications
- VueJS / ReactJS for Booking Website
- Laravel PHP for Extranet, Admin Panel & API
- AWS for cloud architecture (server, database, storage, dns, email, sms)
- Cloudflare for web performance and security
- Database MySQL/MongoDB
- Razorpay payment gateway

Website Maintenance
- Website maintenance includes ensuring that the software provided to the
client is running without any breakdowns.
- Our team will monitor the application crash logs from time to time and fix
them on priority
- We will provide 3 months of FREE website maintenance after launching the
website after which this service will be chargeable as per the price defined
below under commercials.

Commercials

● INR 10,00,000/- Hotel Module Development Cost (Paid As per Go Development)


○ INR 5,00,000/- Advance at the time of agreement
○ INR 2,50,000/- After the first Demo of Front End
○ INR 2,50,000/- After First Demo of Extranet
● INR 2,00,000/- AMC Yearly in advance (lock-in period of 5 years)

Important Notes
- Government taxes are excluded
- The above quotation is for web app development.
- New feature development will cost extra.
- AWS charges and third party service charges for production applications are
NOT included
- The development period starts after SYSOTEL receives the advance payment
from the client.
- The entire project will be completed and deployed in production within 3
months approx.
