To describe the phenomenon of art one must first consider what is a phenomenon. A

phenomenon is an observable fact or event that is happening which is also usually a widely

remarkable event or fact. So, when considering what the phenomenon of art is, it is in fact that

art itself is the phenomenon, it is a human phenomenon. observable remarkable paintings,

pictures, sculptures, and more are all considered a phenomenon of art. In today's society art is put

on display almost everywhere you look, whether it is through art museums, paintings on walls

that you see at doctors' offices or in schools, or it is artistic abilities being displayed through

companies' propaganda. This type of art is very effective when being used for companies'

propaganda because it allows the creator to be very free with their ways of including what

elements of art, they want to portray in the companies ad. Looking at the propaganda that was

used during WW2 when uncle Sam is trying to get you to join the army, it is a very colorful and

patriotic piece of artwork that gives incentive for people viewing to do as it is asking. Meanwhile

with companies that use artwork designs for their propaganda and buy billboards ads in NYC

time square is getting their art and message portrayed to far more people now due to the vast

amount of people that walk by it every day in times square. This helps shed light to some newer

artwork that doesn’t get seen or promoted as much now due to people becoming less and less

interested in visiting art museums or purchasing expensive pieces or artwork.
