can choose from four (4) peso-denominated funds for capital and income growth:
Asian Equity Fund - offshore investment in a HK$ denominated exchange traded fund (ETF)
Bond Fund - corporate or government bonds
Equity Fund - index fund that aims to mirror the performance of the Philippine stock market
Balanced Fund - a mix of the equity index fund and high-quality bonds
How safe are these funds? Is there risk associated with the investment fund?
Risks and returns usually go hand in hand. Which is why our Troo Advisors will assess how much
volatility you are willing to deal with. They will help you determine what your choice of funds and
proportion invested should be. Of our 4 funds, the Bond Fund presents conservative or low risk. The
Equity Fund is moderately high risk while the Balanced Fund is at moderate risk. The Asian Equity Fund's
risk profile is highly aggressive. The fund carrying a higher risk is more volatile and can potentially lead to
higher losses or gains.

4. GRADUATE
Graduate is a traditional life insurance plan that acts as a college savings plan with life
insurance for your child. It will help you support your child through college. Graduate gives you
guaranteed increasing annual payouts, for every year your child is in college. On the 5th and
last year, your child will receive a graduation cash gift.
How old does my child need to be for this plan? How old should I be?
To get a Graduate plan, your child must be between 30 days old and 11 years old. You need to
be between 18 and 60 years of age. If you start planning today while your kid is still young, the
less you'll shell out and the more time for you to save up for college.
The above three options require a one-time set up. Just talk to your Troo Advisor or call Troo Customer
Care. After which, your premium will be automatically charged to your credit card or EastWest
account/credit card.
Or you can also settle premiums via online payment with EastWest Online Banking.
