Assignment 1

1. If you were an artist, what kind of artist will you be?

If I got a chance to become I will chose to become a comic book artist. Although
I’m not great at drawing I will try my best to improve because the reason why I want to
become an comic book artist is not just by to draw only but also to create my own story I
like to read books but sometimes I feel I want to add drawings to the story to make it
lively.

2. What art field will you explore? Why?

I will chose visual arts and under that I will chose drawing because I think
drawing has the closest skill that I can learn. I can draw objects but I can’t draw self -
portrait. I want to improve in drawing and make an animation that will inspire the future
generations about the story that I created based on my drawing, If I’m not an IT student
I will choose this field.

In what ways can imagination produce art? In what ways can art inspire
creativity?

Having an imagination is important to produce arts because with this we can

visualize what we want to do for example a musician want’s to compose a song that will
create a message about heartbreak if the musician is heart broken he can use this
experience to make a lyrics about him but if he is not heart broken but still required to
compose a song about break up he need to imagine on will he relate to it. Also
imagination means what you want to happen based on your thinking, for example a
novel artist needs to imagine his character looks, settings and mood in his story. In
order to create an art using imagination an artist must need to use his emotion. Art can
be inspired by being confident if an artist is satisfied about previous work he can be
inspired to work again and continue to become creative.

3. Give your expectation about the subject and to your subject teacher.

My expectation about the subject is to broaden my knowledge about the meaning

of art because art is I think a complex study but exciting to study. My expectation to
Prof. Michael Abonita is to be a instructor that will help us to strengthen our knowledge
in Art Appreciation.
