 Ensure implementation of applicable QA/QC procedures, QC Plans & work instructions which include activities related to Painting, Wrapping & Insulation
works.
 Ensure the follow of correct procedure of Painting, FBE Coating & Wrapping of below grade (Blasting, Surface roughness, temperature, WFT/DFT, Peel
test, holiday test) for CS/DI Pipes.
 Inspection of all equipments, which is used to carry out the work & updating of Batch Certificates of Abrasives & Paints, Weather monitoring log book &
Calibration Certificates of all equipments, which is used to carry out the work.
 Inspection of all incoming materials related to painting, Wrapping & Insulation work.
 Preparation of adequate & accurate records of all stages of the work being carried out, materials used and ambient condition.
 Preparation and submitting Inspection & Progress reports.
 Well versed with international standards like SSPC, NACE & ISO.
 Inspect all painting works such as testing of visible & non-visible contamination, pre-blast cleaning procedures, surface cleanliness by abrasive blasting or
any other approved alternate, surface profile, type of materials to be used, manufacturers recommendations, mixing ratios, equipment and tools used,
batch numbers, paint’s shelf life, correct method of mixing, weather conditions while mixing and application, method of application procedure in strict
accordance with the specification.
 Perform surveillance, activities monitoring witness and verify all aspects with regards to painting from pre-treatment, surface preparation, and
application, pre-inspection with contractor or subcontractor before final inspection.
 Test pull-off strength of coatings applied and Test discontinuity (holidays or pinholes) of nonconductive coatings and linings
 To participate and witness test panel painting, adhesion tests (pull off test, cross cut and cross hatch), MEK tests and Impact tests.
