New Delhi

Subject: GTE statement for presenting my study plans and future career planning in order to
get Australia Student Visa (Subclass 500)

I am XXXX resident of XXXX, India. I was born on XXXX. I completed my school-level

education in the year 20XX with commerce Subjects. And in year 20XX, I completed
Bachelor of Business Administration degree from XXXX University with First Division.
Also, I scored an overall score of XX in IELTS Academic exam (Listening::XX,
Reading::XX, Speaking::XX, Writing::XX). And now I am applying for Australian Student
Visa to complete MBA international at Deakin University, Australia.

India was my first priority for higher studies as it would allow me to study while staying
close to my family and that would be emotionally satisfying to me. But on knowing various
other factors I decided to study abroad instead of India as it is way more important to me,
getting the best education so that I secure a better future. I researched various institutions in
India for my further education i.e. Panjab University (University Business School), Christ
University, Prestige Institute of Management and Research and Banaras Hindu University
etc. which are offering master's degree course options in international business. But all these
institutions are looking for candidates with national-level management exams scores for
admission to master's degree course options in international business. And so, first I have to
get a score in a national-level management exam and then I can think of admission. Also, not
only getting a score in any of the national-level management exams would be enough for
admission but the score must be decent enough to compete with lakhs of students' academic
profiles who are looking for admission at these institutions in respective course. Also,
somehow I believed that getting my further education from abroad in the field of international
business would be more appealing as it would allow me to get exposure of real-world
working strategies of international firms via practical training or internship opportunities.

After this, I researched all possible options to me for my further education in abroad and
found Australia the best option on considering these factors: Australian education system is
considered among the world's top educational systems; Australia houses a number of
institutions/universities which are well known on a global scale for their research outcomes
and world-class higher education. Unlike, institutions in USA or UK, at most of the
Australian institutions, tuition fee costs are well in the range of most of the international
students. Courses offered by Australian institutions are well accredited and recognized at a
global level. Australia is well known for its multicultural diversity. Australian government’s
policies signify its strong commitment to promote cultural diversity by welcoming migrants
from all over the world and hence, it can be concluded that Australia is among one of the best
options to international students for studying abroad. Also, Australia possesses a better Life
Index as it ranks above average in income and wealth, environmental quality, health status,
housing, subjective well being. Working rights are provided to the students while on their
student visa under the obligations imposed by DIBP; providing them an additional resource
to stabilize their financial condition while studying in Australia.
