escribe what is meant by a SWOT analysis.

SWOT  is  the  first  stage  of  planning  and  looks  at  the  Strengths,
Weaknesses,  Opportunities  and  Threats  involved  in  a  business
venture. This can negatively or positively affect the company.

Strengths  and  weaknesses  are  internal  aspects  that  they  are
within  the  control  of  the  business. They  may  refer  to  aspects  of
marketing or organisation of the business.

● Opportunities  and  threats  are  external  factors  that  they are
outside  the  control  of  the  business.  These  may  include  for
example the economic situation or social changes.

For example, one of IKEA’s key strengths is recycled material.

2. Explain the difference between internal and external factors.

Strengths and weaknesses are internal aspects. This means that
they are within the control of the business. They may refer to
aspects of marketing, finance, manufacturing or organisation.

Opportunities and threats are external factors. This means that
they are outside the control of the business. These may include
the environment, the economic situation, social changes or
technological advances, such as the internet.

3. Ikea and threats.

Ikea is a large company and therefore has more resources than
any other company to face adversity, in this case threats.

Ikea is generally known for low prices and quality, although the
crisis will also affect the company despite that.
To face the crisis, ikea proposes ideas and guides us to a more
sustainable life to be able to carry this threat in a better way.
In addition to giving ideas to society to reduce the impact of
people on the environment.

There are more and more competitors, but as we have said
before, ikea is a large company and known worldwide therefore
this will not affect you.

Ikea has many strategies for threats to have the least possible
impact on the brand and they are dealing with them very well.

4. Discuss the contribution of SWOT analysis to IKEA’s business
growth.

The SWOT analysis has helped IKEA grow in its business activity
by:
generating a good brand image by getting involved with the
environment and doing appropriate things for the environment
and society, increasing the use of recycled materials in the
company.
In addition, IKEA has created thanks to the SWOT analysis
attracting key consumers with the objective of delivering a better
life at home to the customer.
maintaining long-term relationships with companies, with their
suppliers, this ensures good quality products at low prices.
