The European Day of Languages focuses on improving awareness of

Europe’s linguistic heritage and promotes its rich diversity by encouraging

openness to different languages and cultures. It also encourages European
citizens to develop plurilingualism (the ability to use different languages, to
whatever standard) to achieve a degree of proficiency in many languages,
including those less widely used or taught.

From my point of view, it’s important to celebrate this day because it is a

means of promoting awareness among the general public of the importance
of language learning and protecting the linguistic heritage. Furthermore,
learning a new language is essential for personal development and it can be
useful in future situations, such as applying for a new job or travelling
around the world.

Mafalda is a teenage girl of average height and medium weight with a

light brown complexion. She has got long light-brown wavy hair, brown
eyes, a straight nose and plump lips.
She has an amazing sense of humour that always brightens my days up.
As well as that, Mafalda is responsible and always does her school work
within the deadlines. Moreover, she is caring and sweet, as she’s
consistently checking up on her friends. However, Mafalda is introverted
and doesn’t get along with many people, which is a shame because she
genuinely is an incredible girl and, in my opinion, everyone should have a
friend like her.
Mafalda styles casual clothes. Relaxed fit jeans, baggy t-shirts, large
sweatshirts and sneakers are the essentials on her wardrobe.
We’ve been friends for six years and she’s, undoubtedly, one of the most
important people in my life. She’s someone I can always rely on and I
know she’ll be there whenever I need. I’m truly grateful to have her as a
friend.

Living in a tribe can sound like an out of one’s mind idea, however, from
my perspective, it would be an interesting and enriching experience. It
would take a lot of effort to adapt to their lifestyle and to fall in with their
habits.
On the assumption that I had the chance to talk with this tribe, I would
ask them how is their daily routine, as I presume it would be completely
different from ours. In addition, I would like to know which special
occasions do they have and how do they celebrate them.
