Employment Contract

This contract, dated on the 29th day of September in the year 2021, is made between
ETHAN&JOY EXPRESS and Mr. Junnie Velasquez of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. This
document constitutes an employment agreement between these two parties and is
governed by the laws of the Philippines.
WHEREAS the Employer desires to retain the services of the Employee, and the Employee
desires to render such services, these terms and conditions are set forth.
IN CONSIDERATION of this mutual understanding, the parties agree to the following terms
and conditions:

A. Salary

1. As compensation for the services provided by the Employee under this agreement,
He/she must be paid weekly with an hourly rate of ₱55.00, the Employee should also
be paid ₱80.00 as an overtime rate for hours that exceeds 3 hours per week.
2. Presidential Decree (PD) 851, as amended, also known as the 13 th -month pay Law.
The Employee must receive his/her 13th -month pay as it is mandatory.
3. The Employee may file an Emergency Leave report to be able to handle his/her
matters, however, the law does not give you the right to be paid for that time off.
4. The Employee shall receive his/her additional pay when working during holidays.

B. Benefits and Commissions

1. The Employee will be eligible enough to participate in bonuses. The Employee can
choose between receiving the payment personally or being paid directly on their
account.
2. The Employee must be eligible for the company benefits such as:
 Medical Insurance
 Social Security System (SSS)
 Pag-ibig
For the whole duration of the Employee’s contract.
3. The Employee can have flexible and remote working options. The Employee may
work anywhere as long as they stay connected with the company.

C. Selling Policies

1. The Employee must not commit any fraud or scam- related issues. Any substandard
act will be penalized under the Republic Act No. 8792 eCommerce Law.
2. Any damaged gadget must be replaced immediately. The customer doesn’t have to
pay any additional fees as it is the company’s fault.
3. The Employee can ask the customer for personal information only to secure the
transaction, all information shall remain confidential for the safety of our beloved
customers.

D. Pricing

1. The Employee must offer an item at a price for a reasonable, substantial period in
good faith, and in the regular course of business, before advertising that price as the
former or regular price.
2. All promotional pricing should be used for only a short period to balance the profit of
the company and the gain of the brand.
3. All of the products must be reported to the manager to further check if the price is
reasonable and be given feedback.
