The COVID-19 pandemic has generate the bulky disturbance of
educational systems in human history, stirring almost 1.6 billon learners
in more than 200 countries. Shutdown of schools, institutions and other
learning spaces have impacted more than 94% of the world’s student
population.
This school year 2020-2021 produce a lot of changes. Many researchers
have shared their works on teaching and learning in different ways. One of
the major changes in the country is the new set-up in education. For this,
DepEd introduced the LDM Course. This course provides cognizance to
deliver education to learners in this new normal setting by using Self-
Learning Modules.
Teachers reached this far and were able to cope up with the difficulty and
demands they are facing in this distance learning situation because of the
learning they gained in LDM Course.
This Practicum Portfolio contains MOV’s that we have used in this school
year in delivering our lessons despite of this pandemic. It contains various
artifacts like WHLP, ILMP, Worksheets, LAS, certificates and even the
conversation made with the parents and learners.

Annotation: :
From time to time I reached out my student’s feedback through kumustahan with the
parents. I gave simple examples and explained to them clearly. Additional fact sheets
containing images was given to enhance their learning.

Annotation:

Only couple of my pupil’s parents find it difficult to go


to school to get the modules of their children because
of their work, age restriction and others live too far
from the school. This pandemic brought far-reaching
changes in all aspects of our lives and too much
challenges for the learners to continue their education.
For those who have not get their module, home
visitation was done to reach out our learners.

4.1. Planning & management of teaching & learning process

Annotation:

Absence of face to face set-up does not interfere in


attaining the learning skills of my students. I always
make a Performance Tasks where they can showcase
their creativity (drawing, making slogan, composing a
sentence), skills (dancing, creating a poem, rap,
singing) so they don’t find my lessons boring. I also
provided learning references especially if they don’t
get the lesson explained in the modules.

I designed learning activity sheets with simple examples suited to their level. And I
asked their parents to guide their children in answering those worksheets.

Annotation:

I designed a learning activity sheets for my learners as a supplementary material. I also


developed tnstructional materials to aid the lessons and give it to their parents for
better understanding on their lessons.

I attended webinars, LAC Sessions to help me develop my skills and accumulate more
knowledge. Through this, I have learned a lot on different apps, technologies,
strategies and approaches that are applicable on our new normal set up.

LDM Course helps us to assess our strengths and
weaknesses. This helps us to accumulate
knowledge, skills and mindset that are necessary in
this new normal set-up. It helps us to guarantee
the quality of learning that we will deliver to our
learners despite of this pandemic. At first its
difficult, but we need to cope up with the changes
we have in order to survive. This changes also is an
opportunity for us learn more. To be creative and
resourceful in implementing this distance learning.

Annotation: It was stated in my refection that this LDM course helps me a lot to

Annotation:

I consistently communicate to my learners through home visitation due to lack of


access of internet. I also checked their outputs, summative tests and performance as
the basis in making their grades.

I conducted home visitation to easily check on them. I often asked them about the
