SUBJECT: : NBC 461 8th Cycle Faculty Evaluation

The National Budget Circular No. 461 serves as basis for policy decisions for faculty development and
governs the implementation of the Revised Compensation and Position Classification Plan for Faculty
Positions in State University and Colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines.

As per Advisory No. 001., S. 2022 of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges
(PASUC), a total of Php 100 million for all SUCs was allocated for the implementation of faculty
reclassification and promotion, and an explicit special provision, 'that the existing NBC No. 461
implementing guidelines shall be used for the Cycle 8 (cut-off period 2016-20t9) promotion and any
new guidelines shall be prospectively applied."

In view of the foregoing, all concerned are hereby informed of the following:

1. All regular Faculty Members are enjoined to prepare the necessary documents for
the cut-off period from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019.

2. The NBC Eight Cycle Team shall be composed of the following:

a. Vice President- for Administration and Finance
b. Vice President for Academic Affairs
c. Director - Human Resource Management Office
d. President –BASCFEA
e. Ms. Maria Krisvie Abigale F. Mendoza

3. The NBC Eight Cycle Team should meet and discuss the timeline for the following
and submit the same to this office:
a. Submission of documents
b. Evaluation (HR & the Local Evaluators)
c. Submission to NBC Zonal Center
