maintaining good health should be the primary

Essay (10 pts. each)

1. What is the importance of physical activity during pandemic?

It is very important to stay physically active during a pandemic. In this time, boosting our immune system and
stay stress free should be part of our responsibilities. Doing physical activities must be encouraged in every household to
minimize the tension created by corona virus. Our situation made a big impact to the human’s psychological,
physiological, societal, and social health. Good thing, our situation thought us to value life more. Active physical activities
became essential for well-being which boosted our mood and reduced our stress. Doing physical activities also paved its
way to family bonding and it is also a good treatment for depression and anxiety which are commonly experienced by
people in the present because of the lockdown. Performing them helps us live longer and healthier; reducing the risk of
common chronic diseases that can make you more weak and prone to diseases or viruses. In sum, doing physical
activities are very important in terms of sustaining good health so we must be doing them amidst the pandemic to stay
active, healthy, and to survive.

2. Why exercise helps reduce stress?

In reality, it is impossible to eliminate all the stress in our lives but there are a variety of strategies one can use to
reduce stress and exercising regularly is one of them.  According to research, any form of exercise is effective stress
reducer and can help to improve mood, reduce anxiety and enhance feelings of wellbeing. And based on CASEM-ACMSE,
Exercise boosts the release of many chemicals in the body, some of which have been shown to improve mood and reduce
anxiety. These substances include endorphins, dopamine and serotonin. Focusing on activities such as swimming laps,
doing squats or spinning on a bike can provide a much needed “Time Out” from the worries in your life. Being sleep
deprived can make all your stressors much harder to deal with. Good thing, exercising can also improve sleep quality. In
summary, regular exercising will not only help you better manage the stress in your life but it also offers an enormous
number of other health and wellness benefits. Stay active and remember that “Movement is Medicine”.

3. How are you going to convince your family to do physical activity with?

It’s no secret that doing exercise is important for a healthy life. But just because we know exercise is good for us,
does that make us want to do it? No. Convincing someone to do a particular activity is never easy, but that does not
mean that there’s no way to convince them. Finding motivation can be difficult, that’s why we need to encourage them
to do it. Persuade them by words. State all of physical activity’s effects and benefits to human; on how it can strengthen
bonds and family relationships. Tell them each wonderful effects of performing physical activities to human’s health or
life as well as the consequences of not doing any physical activities. However, if nothing happened and they are still not
convinced to stay active with you, start moving. Show them the results of doing it. Be a good example to your family. In
this way, you’ll be able to persuade your family to do physical activity with you. If that happens, make it a habit. Be a
fitter, healthier, and happier family.
