LEARNING OBJECTIVE By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Name or describe objects using suitable words from word sets
2. Understand with support the main idea of very simple phrases and sentences
ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON 1. Teacher tells students to point the different-colored objects in the room.
Teacher repeats for the other known colours.
2. Teacher goes around the room pointing to or touching objects and asking:
What colour is it?
LESSON Activity 1( SB page 22)
DELIVERY 1. Students look at the picture in their SB.
2. Teacher elicits who they can see (the four Super Friends) and where they are
(outside a toy shop). Teacher plays the recording.
3. Students point to the objects and the words when they hear them.
4. Teacher plays the recording again. Students repeat the words. Students
practice pointing and naming in pairs.
Activity 2
1. Students answer the worksheet with teacher’s aid. (Remedial)
2. Students answer the worksheet. (Reinforcement)
3. Students answer the worksheet and become facilitator for students in the
