Note : Question no. 1 is compulsory. Answer five


questions in all. All questions carry equal marks.

1. (a) What percent of the total calories in our


diet should be provided by carbohydrates,

highlighting the foods included in the

suggested number of servings for a

absorption and utilisation of carbohydrates

highlighting the factors contributing to the
