Chain of Command

(from Armed Forces of the Philippine, down to BulSU-ROTC Unit)

Commander-in-Chief (PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE) – also called as


supreme commander, is the person that exercises supreme command and control
over an armed forces or a military branch.

Secretary of National Defense (Secretary Delfin Lorenzana) – Department of


National Defense is the executive department of the Philippine government
responsible for guarding against external and external threats to peace and security in
the country.

Chief of Staff of the AFP (GEN FELIMON SANTOS JR., AFP) – usually the only
officer holding a rank of four-star general/admiral, is the head of the AFP, including all
service branches (Army, Navy-Marine Corps, Air Forces, Coast Guard – in Wartime
Attached Service) under its command. He is also the highest-ranking military officer of
the whole AFP.

Commanding General of the Philippine Army (LTGEN GILBERT I GAPAY, AFP) –


is the overall commander and senior general of the Philippine Army, the ground arm of
the AFP. It is normally held by a three-star rank of Lieutenant General. He has
operational control and is responsible for overall operations of the army.

Army Reserved Command (ARESCOM) (Commander - MGEN BERNIE S LANGUB,


AFP) – is a major support command of the Philippine Army. It was created for the sole
purpose of reserve force management, organization and government arsenal
procurement.
3rd Regional Community Defense Group (Group Commander - COL JOSE
LEOMAR DOCTOLERO INF (GSC) PA ) - is the line unit of the Army Reserved
Command. It was created for the sole purpose of Reserved Force management,
procurement and organization in the areas encompassing Region III of the Philippines.

Corps Commander

(1) Direct responsible of the commandant for the discipline and behavior of the
Cadet Corps.
(2) Perform such duties as the commandant may direct.

Corps Executive Officer

Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Corps Commander in the absence of
the later.

Corps S1 (Personnel and Administration Officer)

Assist and advise the Corps Commander von matters affecting persons on Corps.

(1) Publish all absentee reports. He causes the entire absentee to be recorded and
reflected on the Training Progress Chart.
(2) Publish all reports on the delinquencies and causes these to be recorded and
reflected in the Training Progress Chart.
(3) Publish all reports on the delinquencies and demerits and causes these to be
recorded and reflected In the Training Progress Chart.
(4) Prepare and publish details on COD.
(5) Records all grades in all Cadet record cards.

Corps S2 (Intelligence Officer)

(1) Assist and advise the Corps Commander on matters affecting intelligence
matters.
(2) Assist the Corps Commander in imposing the proper decorum and discipline in
the classroom and during the training hours among the members of the Cadet
Corps.

Corps S3 (Operation and Training Officer)

(1) Plans all activities of the unit to include preparation of weekly training schedules,
classroom and training grounds.
(2) In coordination with S4 plans and make available training grounds/aids of the
Corps of Cadets.
(3) Plans parade, review of honor of the college President and Staff, visitors and
other person entitled to such honor, cadet ball presentation of sponsor, etc.
(4) Prepare weekly training schedule.
Corps S4 (Logistics Officer)

(1) Responsible in the procurement of all materials and supplies necessary in any
planned activity of the Corps of Cadets.
(2) Assist the armored in orderly and systematic issuance of rifle to the cadets during
training day.

Corps S7 (Civil Military Training Officer)

(1) Responsible for conducting civil military operations


(2) Assures the active connection between the military and civilian.

Provost Marshall

(1) Concerned with law enforcement on military property and concerning military
personnel, installation security.
