Ok. now i learning whats is “self Consep” and how important for us.

Self-concept is a concept of how we as individuals perceive our own behavior, abilities, and
characteristics. In essence, self-concept is a picture of who we are based on our own vision. For
example, when you think "I am a good friend", you have a self-concept that you are a good friend.
a healthy self-concept will have important benefits for us. Here are some of the benefits
that can be obtained by having a healthy self-concept:

Maximize your potential. When we have a healthy self-concept, that we believe we can do
this and that, we can unlock our potential to things we never even thought of!

Help us achieve our goals or desires in life

Avoid self-sabotaging behavior (attitudes, thoughts, and actions that hold us back from
getting what we want, such as our life goals). Having a healthy self-concept will make us a
more positive person and believe that we can get what we want. On the other hand, if our
self-concept is not healthy, it will not help us achieve our desires.

Determine how far we can go out of our comfort zone to solve a problem.

Influences how we use our bodies in dealing with challenges and problems in everyday life.
An easy example, when we have a self-concept that we are too fat to be able to participate
and will be the last person at the finish line of a running race at school, maybe that will
happen. It's different if we have a self-concept that we are healthy and strong and will win
the race. Definitely a better result than before.

Well, it has been answered what self-concept is and what is its importance for us. Overall, a
positive and healthy self-concept can determine what we will or will not do at certain
moments in our lives. So, Birdies, please be careful how you look at yourself! Because it is
this view that forms our self-concept and if it is in a healthy form, we will get many benefits.
on the other hand, if it is not healthy, it can harm our mental as well.

Self-concept merupakan sebuah konsep bagaimana kita sebagai individu mempersepsikan tingkah
laku, kemampuan, maupun karakteristik diri kita sendiri. Intinya, self-concept adalah gambaran
siapakah kita berdasarkan penglihatan kita sendiri. Contohnya, ketika kamu punya anggapan “saya
adalah teman yang baik”, berarti kamu punya pandangan (self-concept) bahwa kamu adalah teman
yang baik.

Birdies, self-concept yang sehat akan memiliki benefit yang penting untuk diri kita. Berikut
diantaranya benefit yang bisa didapatkan dengan memiliki self-concept yang sehat:

Memaksimalkan potensi diri. Apabila kita memiliki self-concept yang sehat, bahwa kita percaya kita
bisa melakukan ini dan itu, kita bisa membuka potensi diri kita ke hal-hal yang bahkan tidak pernah
kita pikirkan sebelumnya!

Membantu kita mencapai goal atau keinginan kita dalam hidup

Menghindari self-sabotaging behavior (sikap, pemikiran, maupun tindakan yang menahan kita
mendapatkan apa yang kita mau, misalnya goal hidup kita). Memiliki self-concept yang sehat akan
membuat kita menjadi pribadi yang lebih positif dan percaya bahwa kita bisa mendapatkan yang kita
mau. Sebaliknya, jika self-concept kita tidak sehat, hal ini tak akan membantu kita mencapai
keinginan.

Menentukan seberapa jauh kita bisa keluar dari zona nyaman kita untuk menyelesaikan suatu
masalah.

Memengaruhi bagaimana kita menggunakan fisik kita dalam menghadapi tantangan dan masalah
dalam sehari-hari. Contoh gampangnya, ketika kita punya self-concept bahwa kita terlalu gemuk
untuk bisa ikut dan akan menjadi orang terakhir di garis finish lomba lari di sekolah, ya mungkin itu
yang akan terjadi. Beda kalau kita punya self-concept bahwa kita sehat dan kuat dan akan menang
lomba lari. Pasti hasilnya lebih baik daripada sebelumnya.

Nah, sudah terjawab kan apa itu self-concept dan pentingnya untuk kita apa. Secara keseluruhan,
self-concept yang positif dan sehat dapat menentukan apa yang akan atau tidak akan kita lakukan
pada saat-saat tertentu di hidup kita. Jadi, Birdies, please hati-hati dalam memandang diri kita
sendiri ya! Karena pandangan tersebutlah yang membentuk self-concept diri dan kalau bentuknya
sehat, akan banyak benefit yang bisa kita dapatkan. sebaliknya, kalau nggak sehat, nanti bisa
membahayakan mental kita juga.
