Narrative
On January 30, 2022 at 1731 hrs., I (B. CARLES, 64480) was dispatched to a fight report at Northwest Precinct.
Upon arrival, I spoke with Mrs. KYLA GOODWIN who explained the night prior (01/29/2022) she and a group of 7
or 8, including multiple children, were at dinner at Olympia Cafe. She told me a group of about 7 people, including
Mr. and Mrs. JAMES and TAMMY AUSBON, were seated about 10 feet away from her table. She explained
members of the second group were loud and appeared intoxicated even as they entered the restaurant. She told
me at one point the other group was overheard mocking their Asian waitress who was her friend.
Mrs. Goodwin told me toward the end of their meal, at around 2215 hrs., the other group was in the process of
being kicked out of the restaurant by restaurant staff and began yelling and swearing loudly. She explained her,
her boyfriend, and others in the restaurant objected and asked them to watch their language because there were
children present. She explained Mrs. Ausbon responded by yelling "Fuck you. What the fuck are you going to do
about it." toward her and the others. She told me a fight occurred that involved multiple individuals from both
parties. She said at one point Mrs. Ausbon grabbed her by the neck and hair attempting to pull her outside but she
ended up in the doorway in the middle of the fight. She said she was eventually able to push Mrs. Ausbon away
but Mrs. Ausbon grabbed her hair and the two went to the ground outside the restaurant. She said the scuffle
continued until individuals pulled people apart and Mrs. Ausborn left the scene. Mrs. Goodwin told me as she and

the others were gathering their things, Mr. and Mrs. Ausbon attempted to come back into the restaurant but they
were blocked from doing so and left the area.
Mrs. Goodwin told me she sustained scratches on her neck and shoulder, bruises on her knees and legs, had a
large clump of hair pulled out of her head, and lost most of her press on fingernails during the incident.
Mrs. Goodwin showed me cell phone video of the incident taken by the 14 year old daughter of her boyfriend. The
video shows Mr. and Mrs. Ausbon yelling with other customers and staff as they were being kicked out of the
restaurant. The video shows a general fight in the doorway of the restaurant but specifics actions are difficult to
see and the video is shaky.
Mrs. Goodwin told me the names of the suspects were obtained through the restaurant through credit card
receipts.
Mrs. Goodwin told me police were called to the scene and spoke with her and others, including one member of
the other party.
I sent Mrs. Goodwin a link and she uploaded video of the incident and photos of her injuries to evidence.com.
