Vegetation control Scope & Job Description

Area A1
Area description Total area surface is approx. 35,000m². (3,500 x 10 mtr)
This covers the whole asphalt surface around and between the lights
(north runway)
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high.
Underground not be damaged.

Work method Use of hand and power tools up till 1 meter around the lights and rest
of the area use heavy equipment/machinery.

Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm in closed coordination with operations
department.

Requirements Valid Airport badge and continuous supervision by contractor.

Supervisor must have a permit to drive on the Airside.

Area A2
Area description Total area surface is approx. 140,000m². (3,500 x 40 mtr )
This covers the whole surface starting 10 meter north from area A1.

Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Work method Use of hand and power tools and heavy equipment/machinery.
Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm in closed coordination with operations
department.

Requirements Valid Airport badge and continuous supervision by contractor.

Supervisor must have a permit to drive on the Airside.

Area B
Area description Total area surface is approx. 26,818m²
This covers the whole asphalt surface around and between the lights
(north taxiway, south runway and intersection lights)
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high.
Underground not be damaged.

Work method Use of hand and power tools up till 1 meter around the lights and rest
of the area use heavy equipment/machinery.

Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm in closed coordination with operations
department.

Area C
Area description Total area surface approx. 545m²
This covers the vegetation along the fence of Cargo Building West &
Swissport (inside and outside the fence)
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Frequency: 3 times per
year. Soil not be damaged.

Work method Use of hand and power tools.

Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Requirements Valid Airport badge.

Area D
Area description Total area surface approx. 2,887m²
This area comprises all vegetation growing north & west of the Curoil
yard, around the transformer station, around separation wall
between commercial and private apron.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high
Work method Use of hand and power tools and small equipment/machinery.
Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Requirements Valid Airport badge and continuous supervision by contractor.
Supervisor must have a permit to drive on the Airside.
 Area E (include part of area H right in front of the red gate?!)
Area description Total area surface approx. 32,320m²
This covers all the vegetation around the fire stations, hangars, aero
club, around press container, north of Goddard and vegetation
between the general aviation apron and the taxiway.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high.

Work method Use of hand and power tools and heavy equipment/machinery.

Area G
Area description Total area surface is approx. 1312m²
This covers all the vegetation on and along the airport fences from
the Red Gate till the White Elephant building.
Job description - option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.
Job description - option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high
Work method Use of hand and power tools and small machinery.
Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Requirements Valid Airport badge.
 Area H
Area description Total area surface is approx. 132,730 m²
This covers all the vegetation on the south east corner inside the
fence.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.
Work method Use of heavy equipment/machinery.
Working hours Between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm in closed coordination with operations
department.
Requirements Valid Airport badge and continuous supervision by contractor.
Supervisor must have a permit to drive on the Airside.
 Area I
Area description Total area surface is approx. 13,422m²
This covers all the vegetation on and along the airport fences from
the north-east end on the wall going till the Red Gate.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 2 times per year. Soil not be damaged.
Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high

Work method Use of hand and power tools and heavy equipment/machinery.

Area description Total area surface is approx. 8,340m²
This covers all the vegetation on and along the airport fences from
the north-west end on the wall going till the FOL apron.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high

Work method Use of hand and power tools and heavy equipment/machinery.

Area description Total area surface is approx. 3,500m²
This covers all the vegetation inside the two sections in front of the
Dutch coast guard and the FOL base aprons.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.

Job description - option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 5 cm high, 3 times a
year.

O = 435,300 m2

Area O
Area description Total area surface is approx. 435,3000 m²
This covers all the vegetation in the safety area between the runway
and the taxiway.
Job description - Option 1 Cut and remove all vegetation from the area. Maximum height: 5 cm.
Frequency: 3 times per year. Soil not be damaged.
Job description - Option 2 Maintain vegetation growth that it never exceeds 15 cm high. Soil not
be damaged.
