Qualities of a technical writer

A technical writer scribes his own act of writing invisibly because

technical writing is communication, not self-expression, and the
information itself is far more important than the writer’s attitude.
The modes of technical writing are concerned with the instrumental and

matters free from academics.
It engages students in the writing process and encourages hands-on
application as well as discussions about ethics, audience identification,
electronic communication, and the role of technical writing in the
workplace.
Empathy for the end-user and their experience; knowledgeable about
the field being written, expertise in the subject matter, accurate content
and mistake free, using simple terms for easy understanding, logically
arranged and comprehensively written without forgotten details.
