I. PROJECT PROFILE

1. PROJECT TITLE: PROJECT “H.E.A.R.T.S.”

“HUMANITARIAN EXTENDED TO AETA COMMUNITY RESPONDING

TOTALLY TO SELF-CARE”

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

A big concern for every community is the COVID-19 pandemic. This

point of view provides advice on solving the problem for individual, political
leaders, policy makers, and external stakeholders. What plans do an
individual to make available in the short term, and how should they meet
the needs of our brothers and sisters in the Aeta Community especially
during this time of pandemic. A critical feature of community reaction is to
persuade each and everyone to take advantage of humanitarian activities to
augment if not to solve the problem of famine. Just as organization take
steps to inform, reassure and maintain contact with the community, they
must also ramp up their ability to extend help remotely. This emergency is
not the time to put into effect complex plans for humanity that were meant
to be implemented over months or years. The witticism that “if a job is
worth doing, it’s worth doing badly” has validity. Those belongs to the upper
class should work hand in hand to extend some help especially to the needy.
Giving full attention to reassuring individual is more important than trying
to be with their own self. By doing this, and through this H.E.A.R.T.S.
project, it is highly needed to help individual especially to our Aeta brothers
and sisters who usually left behind.

While the purpose is simple enough, the implementation of the said

plan is more complex. It takes a lot of effort and financial capacity to execute
this plan well especially during this trying time. There seems to be an
enduring sense that lack pf resources have no place in the lofty halls of
individual. Our pursuit of humanitarian acts should be rational, detached,
unaffected by such trivialities as our own vested interest.

However, if the mission of the organization is to be realized, then the

effort to provide a clear and specific plan should be seriously undertaken.
While it is already been the practice of the organization in providing relief
goods, it does not necessarily mean that the objectives have already been
achieved. More must be done. Continuously tapping our external
stakeholders is the call of the times. Hence, this project is very
commendable.
