Every one wishes to be fashionable in their own way. Fashion is related to people of all ages.
Brands have been given a great importance. Wearing branded items is considered a matter of
pride by most of the people. There are lots of fashion brands. Some of them which top the list
includes the Austin Reed, Christopher ward, Apple Bottoms and Two Angle etc. There are brands
that have been maintaining good quality of tailoring. There are also brands that are famous for
their design and people go behind innovation. Bespoke Clothing is another popular choice of
many people of Europe. People tend to wear dresses that have cool looks .Innovation in design
and cuts will always set a trend in the market. Some brands are also considered for comfortable
wear. Some brands are exclusively set for business wear while some target college students.
Austin reed is a brand which mainly focuses people in 30’s.It focuses on both casual and formal
wear. Every product has a famous brand for it .Christopher ward is one of the top brand in the UK
for watches. The designs of this brand are excellent. The best part of this brand is its affordability.
Lingerie rocks the fashion world and there are lots of Lingerie brands that are in top position. Cx
London is another brand whose products run a gamut ranging from fashion clothing to lingerie.
They include clothing for both men and women. Another popular market is for shoes. A shoe
always completes good dressing and it is essential to have good looking shoes that suit our dress.
Wearing branded shoes gives so much of advantage to an individual. Many prefer to wear shoes
that comfort them while some people prefer to wear attractive shoes. There are brands that suit
both the needs of the customers. Hotter comfort brand manufactures shoes that are comfortable

be divided into four categories: traditional wool & wool blends; out door-ski anoraks in

fashion styles.

Suits: - Suits are jackets & skirts / pants sold together as units. They range from casual to tailor.
There is a trend to casual dressing at office but it remains to be seen if professional women will
give up their “power” suits.

Sportswear is any combination of tops & bottoms such as jackets, skirts, pants, shorts,
blouses & shirts, which are priced separately so that the customer can combine them as desired.
Sports wear lines are organised as separates or as coordinated sportswear. It is popular because of
the variety of looks that can be made by combining separates.

Active wear is one of the hottest categories of apparel today, fuelled by the popularity of fitness.
Active wear is subcategorized into two segments; fitness wear worn by people who actively
participate in sports, active wear worn for spectator sports or simply as street wear. Active wear
includes bike shorts, leggings, t-shirts, crop tops, jogging sets, sweat suits & jackets.

Swim wear it includes one piece suits, bikinis, & cover-ups. Manufacturers are also adding
special sizes

Lingerie it includes inner wear, body wear, sleep wear, & loungewear. The popularity of lingerie
is partly caused by the fashion of wearing corsets to show, as Karl Lagerfeld introduced under
suit jackets & marketing style of Victoria’s Secret. The more fitted look is also influencing the
rise in sales of body slimmer’s.

CLUB CLOTHING Club clothing or club wear is relatively a new term in fashion industry.
One wonders if it is a fashion or a fad. Club clothing is sometimes thought to be the specific type
of clothes specially designed for wearing in clubs yet at the same time others attribute it to a style
of wearing clothes. Before making any statement about club clothing what we need to understand
is the meaning of ‘club’. A club is a place where people with similar interest gather and have
good time; it may be a golf club, a cigar club ,a sporting club, a night club or a dance club.

SIZE RANGES
Each size range caters to a different figure type. Generally today’s sizing standards are based on
more realistic measurements than in the past. However each manufacturer has its own
interpretation of standardized sizing. Designer clothes may be deliberately be labelled one size
smaller so that the customer can feel good about being a size 10 instead of a 12. Some
manufacturers’ try to accommodate a variety of body types by using a variety of fit models.

PETITE
• Sizes are catered for the women who is less than 5 ft 4 inch tall
• Size range from 0 to 16
• Most manufacturer’s limit the size range 4 to 14

• 1X (16 TO 18), 2X (20 TO22) & 3X (24 TO 26)

3. Bridge –
• Less expensive alternative to designer fashion.
• It is simply a step down in price from designer
• Less expensive fabric or different production methods

4. A contemporary-
• Style conscious woman who wants more fashion than missy but does not want to pay
designers price.
• Price ranges from Bridge to budget.
• Ex: - Ralph by Ralph Lauren, Kenar, Max Studio, Parallel, Laundry etc.

5. Missy
• Conservative adoptions of accepted designer looks

▪ It is available in varity of qualities & price ranges: better, Moderate, or budget.

6. Junior
• Young styling for young figure
▪ Styling is highly influenced by rock music scene, television, & street fashion.

MEN’S WEAR
CLOTHING CATEGORIES-

SIZE RANGE- MEN’S SUITS


§ Sizes from 36 to 44 with large sizes to 50 based on the chest measurement

§ Young men's sizes have narrower fit in the jacket & hip than the regular men’s sizes
