Planning system
• Publishes forecast to 3rd party DM and Oracle/3rd party supply
planning system
• Oracle Demantra DM shares the data model with Demantra PTP
and the forecast is visible to both modules
• Serves as system of record of promotion plans &
discounts
• ERP system requires feed of promotion pricing from PTP to
account for discounts during order invoicing
• Promotion details extract from PTP is required for financial
accrual reporting done outside the system

• Seeded EBS-DM & JDE-E1- VCP forecast upload

integration can be leveraged to publish total forecast
(base & incremental) from Oracle Demantra PTP
• GL Synchronization process has to be run in batch mode to sync
incremental forecast from promotion_data to sales_data table prior to
forecast publish
• Published forecast series server expression should include both base
volume and incremental volume synchronized from promotion_data

pricing/discounts from Oracle Demantra to EBS Advanced
Pricing module
• EBS ChRM (Channel Revenue Management) provides API’s
to load promotion pricing information from external systems
and to publish it to EBS Advanced Pricing Module
• Recommendations
• Design a custom integration interface to export promotion
pricing/discount information at the lowest level
(Promotion/Item/Ship to Site/Week) from Demantra
• Leverage ChRM API to feed exported promotion pricing
data to EBS Advanced Pricing module

• Supported by JDE E1-VCP integration
• Promotions with the following statuses are extracted from Demantra:
• Approved, Committed, Partial Paid, Paid and Closed
• Promotions with either an off-invoice or bill-back allowance are extracted
from Demantra
• Promotions with fixed cost or a scan-down allowance are not extracted
• Extracted at the promotion & lowest item-location level, typically this is at
the Customer Ship-to site and SKU level
• Workflow creates 2 set of files 1. PromotionPricing.txt 2.
