UNIT INTRODUCTION:

This unit is about freedom. In this unit, you will learn that freedom stands for something greater than just the
right to do whatever one pleases. It also stands for making sure that everyone can also live in freedom granted
by law for equal opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Certainly, freedom means doing the
right thing and choosing the good over the bad. It is manifested in how you think, believe, speak, worship,
move about gather, or choose. At the end, for your Performance Task, you will make an infomercial by
working in a group and applying the information you learned from the lesson to a real life task. Perform
the role assigned to you in the following performance task.

Instructions:

Make an infomercial by working in a group and applying the information you learned from the
lesson to a real life task. Perform the role assigned to you in the following performance task.

Performance Task (GRASPS)

Your school administration has tasked the Grade 7 junior high school students to come up with PROMOTIONAL
MATERIAL in the form of INFOMERCIALS to inform the whole school community about the benefits of online
distance learning or modules (whichever befalls the student/s). The infomercial should include reasons why
embracing online learning (or any other modality corresponding to the student/s) is a freeing choice, and tips on
how to effectively study given ones learning modality. These INFOMERCIALS will serve as INSPIRATION for the
student body. These will be uploaded in the school’s Learning Management System every Monday.

The GOAL is to inform the student body that happily accepting their current situation as regards learning is a
freeing choice. Furthermore, they are to help the students be more open to the situation by giving timely tips on to
how to hurdle learning during this time. Their ROLE is to be concerned student leaders who take initiative to.
