Community resources are the places or topics that you can gain knowledge of.
This includes field trips or educational tour wherein you are assigned to visit a certain
place outside the regular classroom. Also, this includes resource persons are the
people who have special knowledge and skills, they are called resource persons who
can provide resources in the form of ideas that can be shared to students.
Field trips advantages is that by conducting this, teachers can make materials
available which are oftentimes difficult to transport to the classrooms. Also, students are
given opportunities to observe living organisms in their natural habitat or to visit local or
historic sites. While the limitations field trips are generally costly, traveling could be
dangerous, and planning is very time consuming.
Having a resource person would be a very great help because they can explain
topics more accurately and interestingly than the classroom teacher. On the other hand
problem could be encountered when the availability of the resource problem does not
match the schedule.
