words which makes a beautiful harmony that’s music. The dictionary meaning of music is that it

is an art by which you arrange different kinds of sounds in line with certain elements such as

melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. In the olden days, music is used in rituals and ceremonial

traditions in honoring their deities, Gods and Goddesses, but nowadays music is now used to

express our thoughts and emotions much like the definition of art. According to Sergei

Rachmaninoff, an influential Russian composer and pianist in the twentieth century said these

words “Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music” his word means is

that for some people music is the center of their life it is the foundation that makes them on how

they live. Every one of us knows what is music we all heard of it every day but most of us

underestimate the value and the power that music can offer into our lives.

Music can lift one's spirits, reduce pain and anxiety, and allow for emotional expression.

health. Music has been shown to relieve tension by stimulating biological stress reducers Music,

Although there is no cure for Alzheimer's or dementia, music therapy has been demonstrated to

alleviate some of the symptoms. Music therapy can help agitated individuals relax, enhance

overall mood. It helps with pain management. Music therapy can help with pain management by

lowering stress and delivering a strong competing stimulus to the pain signals that enter the

Many students listen to music to relieve stress, improve their mood, and provide

motivation in their daily lives. Some students utilize music to cope with the emotional impacts of

stress or anxiety when they are doing something they enjoy, such as studying for an exam or

quiz, completing homework or tasks assigned by teachers or lecturers, or reading and writing. As

for me, music is very helpful. The very last thing it can do to a person is to escape reality for a

minute or two and to forget glooms that we are feeling for a while. Personally, music has always

been my ally and a friend. Whenever I want to be surrounded by solitude and left alone for a

while, music is there with me. Sometimes, it's the lyrics of the music that relates the most to my

surroundings, to my life, and to what I am feeling at the moment.
